Tianzhen Agri-Food Education Centre

Through experiential learning and practice: 

we re-establish the relationship between people, food, and the land that cultivates it; 

understand the full story, from the growth of plants to the process of cooking; 

how to eat safe; 

and recycling food waste after we are done. 

It helps children and adults alike to understand the food they eat, develop the ability to choose ingredients, and gain a richer, more three-dimensional understanding of agricultural producers. The Centre brings together a wide range of teachers to create "Balcony Garden", "Campus Gardens" and "Community Garden" models; through developing this course series, we hope the Agri-Food education curriculum and model will continue to spread out to more schools and communities.
